Kaiserslautern sits on the edge of the Palatinate Forest in south-west Germany, an unpretentious city with deep roots — its name nods to the medieval emperor Frederick Barbarossa, who built a palace here. This short film simply roams its streets, taking in the everyday rhythm of the place.
It's a low-key, honest wander rather than a polished tour: ordinary streets, local life and the relaxed feel of a real German city going about its day. Press play to roam along, and find more of my European city walks on my channel.
