Just north of Stuttgart, Ludwigsburg is a city built around grandeur. It grew up in the 18th century alongside its enormous Baroque residence — one of the largest palace complexes in all of Germany — and that sense of stately, planned magnificence still defines the place today.
This short film takes in the majestic sights of the city: the elegant architecture, the formal lines and the palatial scale that earned Ludwigsburg its reputation.
